In a “pitch to contact” masterpiece, Randy LeBlanc had 11 baserunners and only two strikeouts in seven innings, but didn’t allow an earned run. (9 H, 1 BB, 1 HBP.) Take that, sabermetrics!
Fun facts about Dunedin: Dunedin, Florida, is a suburb of St. Petersburg. Voice actor George Lowe (remember “Space Ghost”?) was born there. Dunedin has, per Wikipedia, bars AND nightlife. I thought those were the same thing, but whatever.
In Tolkein mythology, the Dúnedain are Men descended from the Númenóreans (Aragorn is one of them). Númenór fell into the sea. Dunedin, Florida, will probably be underwater in about 25 years. So reality imitates art!

Definitely your Fun Game Of The Day, with Kane County scoring a go-ahead run off reliever Max Cordy in the ninth. After 12 innings on Friday, this is one tight little series. Starter Domenick Carlini’s name sounds like he should be doing magic tricks and smoking, but he wasn’t wizardly here, lasting only four frames. C Mitchell Kranson and DH Lewin Diaz had multi-hit efforts. All for nought, like EVERYTHING YOU TRY TO DO IN LIFE YOU LOSER
