Double-A: Tennessee Smokies at Chattanooga Lookouts (Game 2)

RAINED TOO MUCH.

[No Box Score]

High-A: Dunedin Blue Jays 7, Ft. Myers Miracle 1

We got a live one! Unfortunately, though, the Miracle lost.

SP Lachlan Wells made the start for Ft. Myers and kinda got shelled. He gave up FOUR home runs and six earned runs total in just three innings of work. Not stellar.

LF Casey Scoggins went 2-for-3 with a walk.

Low-A: Cedar Rapids Kernels 11, Kane County Cougars 2

Now THIS is what I’m talking about.

C Mitchell Kranson led the way in this offensive outburst, going 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, and two runs scored. Oh, did I mention home runs? Because the Kernels had even more, with 3B Caleb Hamilton, SS Jermaine Palacios, and RF Jaylin Davis all hitting them too.

Top prospect SP Clark Beeker started the game for the Kernels and lasted seven whole innings while giving up only one earned run (two unearned).

RP Hector Lujan threw two perfect innings.
