The Twins kick off a crucial four game series tonight in Boston against the Red Sox. The once again first place Twins (39-34) face a Red Sox team (41-34) that has come back from a slow season start to climb into a tie for first place in the AL East with the Yankees.
Jose " La MaKina" Berrios (7-1 2.67 ERA 53K) makes the start for the Twins vs old White Sox foe Chris Sale (9-3 2.85 ERA 146K) in what should be a really fun pitching matchup to watch.
The impression that I get from Berrios is that he is going to fully live up to his nickname ("The Machine" in English) which means exciting times ahead for all of Twins fandom. In fact there have been a few games this year he almost single-handedly won the game for the Twins as evidenced in the picture below.
