Rick Porcello, who is 20 years old, started this game for the Red Sox—but, luckily, he sucks. The Twins were able to score twice in the second and twice in the sixth and ahhh this weird.
But guess who DIDN’T suck? Adalberto Mejia. He actually pitched 5.2 scoreless innings. For Twins pitchers, especially, that is amazing.
The offense that helped power Mejia was provided by, mostly, Joe Mauer and Max Kepler. Imagine that?
