Tovar, Tovar, Tovar

For those of us old enough to remember the early days of Twins baseball, Caesar Tovar has to be a memorable character, deserving of the recognition of The Twins Hall of Fame. His ability to play all positions with a very solid glove and a very solid bat (7 consecutive years above .269 including a couple .300 seasons) didn't make him a superstar, but if you doubt how good he was, consider that he was garnering votes for MVP for 5 consecutive seasons, finishing as high as 7th the year Harmon lost out to some guy named Yastremski.

Caesar Tovar was better than good, a delight to watch, and a vital cog in one of the most glorious eras of Twins baseball. He belongs in the Twins Hall of Fame.
