The Twins (65-62) kick off an important away series against the Blue Jays (60-76) after a disappointing outcome this week in Chicago. Fortunately though the Twins still hold on to the second Wild Card spot and look to gain some ground on the competition using their on-the-road magic against the last place Blue Jays.
The Twins currently sit 8th in this CBS Sports MLB Power Rankings article , which is a very nice U-turn from where the team was a year ago.
Pitching for the Twins:
Bartolo Colon 5-10 6.66 ERA 67K
On the mound for the Blue Jays:
J.A. Happ 6-9 3.90 ERA 101K
Notes: With Sano out we see EE at 3B and batting cleanup again (insert your favorite sad emoji face here)
Mitch Garver gets the start at DH tonight
