Know Thine Enemy: Brew Crew Ball

Tonight the Twins kick off the annual interleague series against our border battle foe Milwaukee Brewers. The Twins head into the game 53-56 and 3.5 games out of a Wild Card spot. The Brewers (59-54) have surprised many by leading the NL Central for the majority of the season but currently sit a half game back of the Cubs.

Ervin Santana (12-7 3.28 ERA) takes the hill tonight for the Twins, he tossed his MLB leading 5th complete game in his last outing vs the Padres. No other team has more than 4 complete games on the season.

For the Brewers they send out Brent Suter (2-2 3.04 ERA). He is making his 7th start in place of the injured Chase Anderson and has 4 quality starts on the year. He has never faced the Twins.
