Know Thine Enemy: Royals Review

The Twins (70-63) start an at home series tonight vs the Royals (65-67) with the Twins looking to gain some Wild Card room in the standings and the Royals hoping to keep their playoff chances alive.

On the mound for the Twins: Gee, Dillon (1-1 3.53 ERA 31K)

For the Royals: Hammel, Jason (6-10 4.76 ERA 116K)

As you may or may not know, former Twins great Joe Nathan is officially retiring today and signed a one day deal to retire as a Twin. There will be a pre-game ceremony as well as Joe throwing out the first pitch.

Cody Christie also had a nice article about Nathan's career over at Twins Daily today.

I couldn't find any good Kansas City bands to feature tonight. On top of that they gave us the terrible band Puddle of Mudd (thanks but no thanks KC). ..so I will give you a cool tune by KC native and saxophone legend Charlie Parker with Dizzy Gillespie.
