Tuesday Twins: Minnesota’s remaining schedule looks great

At least that is what everyone is saying (except Paul Molitor).

I’ve got yo’ links:

  • Fox Sports North has a piece about the Twins’ path to the playoffs, which is strange because I thought they were going to all video now, but this isn’t a video?
  • It’s true that most of the Twins’ remaining games are against opponents with a below .500 record, but Paul Molitor ain’t buying into it: “Last time I checked, they’re all going to be against major league teams.”
  • Seth Stohs also did his breakdown of the remaining schedule over at Twins Daily. Man. Now I’m feeling like I missed a memo or something that we were all supposed to write about this.
  • According to Bleacher Report, the one thing that can doom the Twins in the 2017 postseason is... negative run differential? I mean... okay. Makes sense. Score less than the other guy and you’re probably going to lose. Sportsball and all.
  • John Sickels over at Minor League Ball has a piece about Niko Goodrum, the rando the Twins called up at the beginning of September. What exactly do the Twins have in Niko? That’s the gist here.
  • Meanwhile, former Twins pitcher Jeff Reardon got listed as one of the Berkshire County Top 50 Athletes of the 20th Century list! What an honor.
  • In a little MLB news, the Dodgers lost for the eleventh time in a row last night (lol), to the Giants (lmao), at in a game that ended at FOUR IN THE MORNING (LMFAO).
