The Twins hit the scoreboard first, but the Jays fought back to take the lead and Game 2 of the series 4-3.
Bartolo Colon pitched pretty sexy through the first four innings, then he pitched like your average middle-aged guy with a silly nickname.
Joe Mauer drove the first run on a sac fly in the 3rd. Catcher Chris Giminez did the same in the 4th making it 2-0 Twins.
The Jays finally got on the board in the 5th on a Kevin Pillar solo homer, and again in the 6th with Josh Donaldson being the man to take Colon deep this time.
Meanwhile, Brian Dozier launched his 31st HR of the year in the 5th and the Twins had a 3-2 lead at the end of 6.
But from there it was all Blue Jays, scoring 2 off Colon in the 7th and ending his night. Ryan Pressly came on in relief and did a nice job of keeping things from getting out of hand.
Tyler Duffey pitched two scoreless innings in the 8th and 9th to give the Twins a chance, but there would be no dramatic walk off home runs tonight.
TwinkieTown investor Joel Hernandez summed up the game nicely in this drawing he made..
