Man, that was brutal. So glad to get out of NYC and away from The Bowery Boys, The Rogues, and C.H.U.D.s, and on to safe, Old Detroit and the "easy" part of the schedule. Oh, hang on here... Looks like the Tigers have actually won three out of the four series we've played against them and lead 7-5 on the season so far.

Well, so what? We can do this! [Sees another jinxy Bryz article] Oh crap, let's just get this over with already.

Pitching for the Eight Mile Marmalades will be Jordan Zimmermann (RHP, 8-12, 6.18 ERA). J.Z.'s got 99 problems and giving up hits is one. He hasn't pitched at least six innings in his last five starts. He gave up seven earned runs to Twins batsmen on eight hits and a walk in 3 1/3 innings last month.

Hey, hey, hey! It's Adalberto Mejia (LHP, 4-6, 4.62 ERA) pitching for the Twins tonight! "The Little Sweat" lasted only three innings in his last start against the B-Jays. He last faced the Mo-Town Tabbies in July and gave up one earned run on five hits and two walks while fanning five over 4.1 innings.
