My new year's resolution related to the Twins is to get to Target Field as much as possible and enjoy the great game of baseball with family and friends. I can really connect with loved ones at the park and at the same time enjoy a ball game (and hopefully a Twins victory). Of course, there are different levels of actually watching the game depending who you go with. Either way, I pray for sunny skies and perfect weather for every game I attend and for the Twins to win. Most importantly, memories made and bonds formed and strengthened at the ball park. Right now, I have plans to go with my wife and children (of course), different groups of co-workers from my current and previous job, family, friends, and fellow worshippers from my church.
Also, I just want to simply enjoy the 2018 Twins season. This young Twins core has the look of something special and I really feel they are going to bring another World Series title (or two or three) to Minnesota. I want to really enjoy the ride and look back as 2017 and 2018 as the beginning. Regardless of the end result, I am so grateful and thankful for what the game of baseball has meant to me throughout my life. Now that I am firmly in the middle of my adult years, I can really appreciate the impact the game of baseball has had on me as a person, what it has meant to my family and our relationships, and the entertainment it has provided. I want to soak in each Twins baseball game in 2018 and just live in and enjoy the moment.
May God bless everyone at Twinkie Town in 2018!
