- USA Today is examining the case for various teams to sign Bryce Harper, and it actually seems to be a decent fit for the Twins. They’re probably right about the odds of it happening, but it’s a fun dream.
- Brandon Warne suggests the Twins should play the waiting game at DH, because they are one of a very few teams who would be interested in signing Nelson Cruz or another veteran DH. What do you think?
- Do-Hyoung Park hit the ground running on the Twins beat with a look into internal options for future closers. A couple of the names he mentions might surprise you. Or not, maybe you think more outside-the-box than I do.
- Speaking of future players, there is now an official posting process for Cuban baseball players. This is very good news all the way around, and it will be very interesting to see the teams bid on the first wave of eligible players.
- Since this is the internet, cute animal videos are required occasionally. TC Bear and the Twin’s staff pitched in at Animal Humane this week. Watch the video, and then consider adopting your next pet instead of buying. Trust me, rescue animals are awesome.
Maybe we should call it #MNTwins Paw-liday Week of Giving!
