Oh Em Gee, something actually happened! The Twins are finalizing a deal with second baseman, Jonathan Schoop for a one year contract worth about $7.5mm dollars with unknown incentives.

Schoop struggled with the Orioles and Brewers last year to the tune of a .202/.246/.331 triple slash with 4 entire dingerydoos, causing the brewers to non-tender him this off-season rather than pay him the 10 million he would have been owed in arbitration.
However Schoop is only one year removed from a monster 5.2 rWAR season in Baltimore where he hit 32 home-runs while playing fairly average defense.
In Schoop the Twinkies scoop up a pretty big bounce-back candidate who could help push a resurgent team back into the playoffs or be a trade-chip if 2019 goes the way of 2018. Either way it’s a solid low-risk pick up.
