- The ol’ Freak Tim Lincecum, “The Freak”, is having a huge try-out for teams today. Twelve teams are said to be attending, including the Twins! My god this offseason is dumb.
- ESPN says Tim Lincecum is bulked the heck up, though.
- Meanwhile, the starting pitching situation ain’t looking mucb better and FOX Sports North has noticed. Here’s what they have to say.
- Also, Justin Morneau is joining the FSN broadcasting crew, as we all already knew. But here’s the exact breakdown oh how many broadcasts the folks are doing:
Justin Morneau will work approximately six Twins games as an analyst for FSN this season. Bert Blyleven will work 80 games for 2nd consecutive season. Jack Morris and Roy Smalley are expected to work 24 apiece. LaTroy Hawkins and Torii Hunter are expected to work 12 games apiece.
