Game 25: Blue Jays at Twins

The Twins have a heck of a lineup for their game tonight against the Blue Jays.

Another day, another chance to end the skid for the Twins! Can they do it tonight? It's strange to say it, but putting Kyle Gibson on the mound probably gives them their best chance.

Gibson has reinvented himself as a pitcher over the course of the last year, and become one of the Twin's most reliable options. This season, his ERA is 3.33, and he has struck out 30 total batters. In his last performance, he gave the Twins an excellent chance to defeat the Yankees. He threw six scoreless innings, and struck out ten; before being betrayed by the Fernando Rodney experience.

Marco Estrada will be the starter for Toronto. He has a 6.00 ERA this season, which is a couple points above his career average. He's really struggled with giving up home runs so far this season, so the Twin's offense has a chance to shine tonight.

Speaking of offense, here are the line-ups!

Today's Lineups

TORONTO BLUE JAYS MINNESOTA TWINS
Curtis Granderson - LF Robbie Grossman - RF
Teoscar Hernandez - RF Joe Mauer - 1B
Justin Smoak - 1B Max Kepler - CF
Yangervis Solarte - 3B Eduardo Escobar - 3B
Steve Pearce - DH Eddie Rosario - LF
Kevin Pillar - CF Mitch Garver - C
Lourdes Gurriel - 2B Logan Morrison - DH
Luke Maile - C Ehire Adrianza - SS
Aledmys Diaz - SS Gregorio Petit - 2B
Marco Estrada - RHP Kyle Gibson - RHP

Max Kepler and Eduardo Escobar have both been red-hot lately. Can they keep it going, and have it pay off for the team? Logan Morrison is heating up too, and has hit a dong once in every seven at-bats against Estrada. Will he break through tonight? How will recent addition Gregorio Petit fare at second base? Lets find out!

I'm ready to watch a Twins win! Are you?
