Looking up the stats on Milwaukee lefty Brent Suter, I saw that BRef listed his nickname as "The Raptor." That is a strange nickname; he doesn't look especially reptilian. So I looked up where the name came from, and found this very fun interview. (Apparently somebody said he runs kinda like a raptor.)
Here's a heck of a thing. He met his future wife in second grade, but they "never really hung out in the same groups." Well, yeah, duh. It's second grade! Boys don't hang out with girls, they're grody!
Then he met her again... in college. Oh, and what college? Friggin' Harvard. (Good thing he didn't go with his other choice, MIT.)
Suter throws the usual four pitches, only not very hard at all: his fastball tops out at 86. He relies on a slight cutting movement and a deceptive delivery. Much better against lefties than righties, digits:

Take away those walks, and Gibson's having an All-Star season so far. If you wonder "where has this guy been all my life," Bryz had a rundown here.
