The Twins hope to get things back on track today after a tough loss last night in extra innings. We get to be excited about the MLB debut of Fernando Rodney Romero though, who ranks about 5th or 6th on most Twins prospect lists for 2018.

Twinkie Towner Andrew wrote a nice piece on Romero the other day if you would like a little more background info on him.

The now Jose "I kill the Twins for a living" Bautista-less Blue Jays counter with de facto ace Marcus Stroman, who is not pitching like a "de facto ace" by any means this year so far ( 0-3 with an 8.88 ERA in 25.1 IP). He has walked 5.3 batters per nine innings and gave up six runs in each of his last two outings. Stroman has yet to pitch beyond 5 1/3 innings in a game.

The Twins hope to capitalize on Stroman's struggles, but once again are forced to piece together a lineup that doesn't include Byron Buxton or Miguel Sano, with both currently on the DL.
