Monday Morning Minnesota: Everyone has bilateral everything weakness

• Our friends at Twins Daily discuss who the Twins should be looking to extend. Eduardo Escobar is obviously the answer and I will beat up anyone who thinks otherwise. What do you guys think? I’m pretty sure Dozier is gone and Mauer will either re-sign for cheap or retire. Time is on their side for the young guys, so pretty much throw money at Escobar! Hire Nic Cage as the bench coach!
• The Runner Sports asks which Twins injury is the most absolutely depressing frustrating. I kinda forgot how everyone was injured all of the time. I’m beginning to think this season has been slightly sub-optimal.
• Joe Mauer is going to rehab. By which I mean he’s going to AAA for a bit. Might secretly be in milk rehab though, I dunno.
• Fangraph’s Sunday Notes column has some Ron Gardenhire quotes where he absolutely rags on his son and former Twins “prospect” Toby. It is supremely hilarious.
• Apparently we should be more mad at the Twins? Or less mad at the T-Wolves? Or Some combination of both? Sports!
