Happy Tuesday! I’m supposed to be on vacation, but here I am, up early on vacation, writing this post with these links for you:
- Yesterday, Miguel Sano played his first game since his demotion to the High-A Ft. Myers Miracle. Things went okay — Sano played third base, and went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double, a walk, and two runs scored.
- Speaking of Sano, Chip Scoggins wondered over at the Star Tribune if Sano and Byron Buxton’s struggles mean the organization has to reset and start all over again. How likely might that be?
- Even though Paul Molitor won AL Manager of the Year last season, and the Twins signed him to a three-year contract extension, Nick Nelson over at Twins Daily is wondering if Molly is really the right guy to lead the Twins.
- Meanwhile, Brendan O’Brien at isportsweb thinks the Twins should acquire another catcher. What, Cameron Rupp is not enough for you!?
