Know Thine Enemy: Royals Review

Mr. Lance Lynn gets the nod for the Twins today. He surrendered one run over six innings in his last start vs the Orioles. Let's all hope he has another good outing to help his trade value and/or to also inch the Twins back closer to the .500 mark.

The Royals send Burch Smith to the hill, who will be making his first MLB start since 2013. As a reliever this year he is sporting a 5.40 ERA over 38.1 innings pitched.

Fun Fact # 1: Burch is Burch Smith's real name. As Tawny pointed out in yesterday's game recap, he and teammate Whitley Merrifield could easily start a tonic and snake oil sales business together when their baseball careers are over with these olden day names they have..

Fun Fact # 2: Logan Morrison was born in Kansas City, MO, but moved around a lot as his father served the Coast Guard.
