Welcome to this special edition of Twinkie Town: Roster Moves! This was a big one. Lots of exciting roster moves. I’m not even sure if have a handle on it, but here it goes:

  1. Jorge Polanco — remember him? He was serving and 80-game suspension for testing positive for PEDs right before the season started, but now that thoxe 80 games are over he’s coming back! Shortstop or something. Manny Ramirez. Grumble, garble.
  2. Activating Polanco also meant the Twins had to make room on the 40-man roster, so Ryan LaMarre was DFAed. Please everyone end your thoughts and prayers to RandBall’s Stu.
  3. The Twins also called up right-hander Zack Littell, who is normally a starter but will be put into the bullpen for the series in Milwaukee.
  4. HEY, ALSO, BTW — THE TWINS ACTIVATED BYRON BUXTON BUT OPTIONED HIM BACK TO THE MINORS BECAUSE HEY WHO NEEDS A CENTER FIELDER NOT THE TWINS NOPE.

I think that’s all for roster moves but I will probably be updating this post in like 15 minutes. I mean, why not?
