For the second start in a row, Jose Berrios was unable to make it past the 4th inning, giving up 4 runs (3 earned), but ultimately got a no-decision on the day. The Twins have struggled against Pirates starter Chris Archer in the past at Target Field, but were able to mount a comeback and take both games of the inter-league series.
The Pirates struck first in the 2nd after a HBP, a single, and a throwing error by SS Jorge Polanco. The Twins answered right back in the bottom half on a double by Miguel Sano and RBI singles from Logan Forsythe and Bobby Wilson to take the lead at 2-1.
Berrios had a scoreless 3rd, but got hit hard in the 4th. A leadoff home run by Elias Diaz was followed by two singles and a walk to load the bases. Gregory Polanco singled bringing in two of those runners making it a 4-2 game and ending the day for Berrios.
From there on the Twins bullpen shut the Pirates offence down for the day, with contributions from Oliver Drake (*verify*s notes, yes yet another real player), Gabriel Moya, Tyler Duffey, and Taylor Rogers.
The Twins took the lead back for good in the 6th on a Max Kepler RBI double, and another RBI single from Forsythe, this time of the 2 run variety.
Not to be outdone, catcher Bobby Wilson blasted a home run the next inning with his soon to be league leading 2nd homer of the year to make it 6-4 Twins.
Trevor Hildenberger got the call again to close things out, which he did, earning his 3rd save as the Twins sweep the Pirates before starting a four-game series against the Detroit Tigers tomorrow at home.

if Rodney had been traded to the Pirates?
They could have an archer closing for an Archer”
