Game 147: Twins @ Royals

Let’s see if we can see something wacky today.

Opponent’s Nice SB Site: Royals Review

TV: FSN. Radio: Treasure Island isn’t really tropical

Remember last Saturday, when tonight’s Royals starter Jorge Lopez took a perfect game into the ninth inning before the mean Twins broke it up (and lost anyway)? That was wild, huh? Almost everyone in the game thread was rooting for him. Maybe Jose Berrios can flip that script tonight, who knows?

It’s just been a wild seven days in Twins World overall. Willians Astudillo with a walk-off dong. Willians Astudillo “speeding” towards home, his flying hair in full glory, Willians Astudillo riding Chris Gimenez piggyback, and Jake Odorizzi’s near no-hitter. Joe Mauer with maybe his last-ever grand slam.

It’s like TT regular gintzer said the other day: “‘Each game has something intriguing or was entertaining ... I don’t understand why people punt on a season if their team isn’t “good”.’” ‘Cause they’re a bunch of crabby dum-dums, that’s why.

I’m rooting for more baseball shenanigans! Lineups:

@Twins
@Royals

I think the Royals graphic has a better format, with the first names and all. But the big picture of Berrios is cool, too.
