KNOW THY ENEMY — Bless You Boys

This is the last Monday game of the year for the Twins, barring anything odd. It’s also our last visit to Detroit of the year, although they will be coming to town later.

Gabriel Moya gets the “start” for the Twins, because this opener thing just won’t go away. I guess I’m just your cranky old neighbor when it comes to modern baseball trends.

His opponent is 32-year old Wisconsonite Jordan Zimmerman. He’s probably a Packer fan, Boo! You probably know who Zimmerman is, since he’s been with Detroit for awhile. He’s a right handed pitcher with a 4.17 ERA this season. The only time he faced the Twins this season was August 10th, and he limited them to two runs on eight hits, in a bit over six innings.

Lets just sit back, and enjoy some Gardy-isms, because this line up has some real nick-name potential.
