Possible new lead-off hitter for the Twins?

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Twins quietly acquired a new player off waivers from the Braves could be future Twins lead-off hitter.

His name is Michael Reed.

Reed is a 26-year-old who played for the Triple A Stripers/Mississippi Braves in 2018. He's an outfielder the Twins claimed off waivers last October.

His combined numbers for the Double-A Mississippi Braves and Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers and awesome: .342/.459/.539, with 62 walks, 114 hits and 11 HR in 97 games and 333 AB. His strikeout rate was 29%. His defense play was incredible with only two errors in the 97 games.

What do you guys think about Reed and how he might fit into the Twins' future?
