Per MLB Trade Rumors, the Minnesota Twins have agreed to a contract with right handed reliever Blake Parker. Parker is a 33-year old who was non-tendered by the Angels this offseason.

Despite being in the big leagues on-and-off since 2012, Parker has only accumulated about four years worth of service time. He came up with the Chicago Cubs originally, but has since pitched for the Yankees, Mariners, and Angels.

He owns a career 3.68 ERA, and 3.10 in the AL. While he has performed a little better against left-handed batters, he doesn’t have much for platoon splits.

He agreed with the Twins on a $3.2 million deal, for one year. Interestingly, he will be arbitration eligible again after next season.

Welcome to Minnesota, Blake
