So, this is awkward.

First, this is a preview for a non-Twins game. Secondly, I got this thread up late. Sorry, I was in the-Twins-don’t-have-a-game-tonight mode.

But hey, after a fantastic N.L. Wild Card Game on Tuesday night, here’s hoping for another good one on Wednesday in Oakland.

The A’s are starting Sean Manaea, or The Manaealator, according to his MLB.com profile. However, as of this writing, Manaea has already given up a run on a leadoff homer from Yandy Diaz. Whoops, now it’s 3-0 after a two-run shot from former White Sox great and sworn enemy Avisail Garcia.

The Rays are countering Charlie Morton, who gave up a hit and a pair of walks in his first inning of work. Suffice it to say that we may be in for some offensive fireworks at the jam-packed Coliseum.

Enjoy the game, everyone, and let visions of bombas dance in your head for the next 46 hours or so...
