If you were unaware, the Minnesota Twins are playing the New York Yankees in one of the American League Division Series that starts tonight. Playoff rosters were due at 9a Central this morning, and Rocco Baldelli really waited until the last minute to submit his 25-man roster for this series. Below are the 25 players that will play for the Twins in this round of the playoffs:

PITCHERS (12 total)

  • Jose Berrios
  • Randy Dobnak
  • Tyler Duffey
  • Kyle Gibson
  • Brusdar Graterol
  • Zack Littell
  • Trevor May
  • Jake Odorizzi
  • Taylor Rogers
  • Sergio Romo
  • Devin Smeltzer
  • Cody Stashak

CATCHERS (2)

  • Mitch Garver
  • Jason Castro

INFIELDERS (7)

  • Ehire Adrianza
  • Luis Arraez
  • C.J. Cron
  • Marwin Gonzalez
  • Jorge Polanco
  • Miguel Sano
  • Jonathan Schoop

OUTFIELDERS (3)

  • Jake Cave
  • Max Kepler
  • Eddie Rosario

ELITE BOMBA-MASHER (1)

  • Nelson Cruz

In Twitter form, if you’re into that:

A pretty full and complete roster, I would say. A few things to note when looking at the rosters:

  • The Twins are going into the series with only two lefties in the bullpen - Rogers and Smeltzer.
  • Arraez, Kepler, and Gonzalez must be ready to go and recovered from their respective injuries as they’re listed on the roster.
  • Notable names left off of the roster (in my opinion): Willians Astudillo, Lewis Thorpe, Martin Perez.

What do you think of this series’ roster? Anyone that should have been on there that isn’t? Anyone who is on the roster that shouldn’t?
