• The post office in Payette, ID was renamed for Payette native, MLB Hall-of-Famer, and Minnesota Twins legend Harmon Killebrew
• 538 looks at the extensions around the MLB this spring, including Max Kepler and Jorge Polanco, and tries to find a reason so many players have agreed to avoid arbitration lately. The conclusion is that the teams and the players are using similar data sets, so find common ground more easily.
• Miguel Sano is headed to Florida this week, and should be back in Minnesota in around a month, according to Dan Hayes of the Athletic ($$$)

• Zach Greinke had a great reaction to being called up once upon a time. That and some other good stories about managers pranking players.
• The holiday special uniforms for 2019 have been announced, and as usual, they’re ugly as sin. The Canada Day unis from the Blue Jays are pretty sharp though, so um... Yay Canada? They’re still America’s hat.
• Khris Davis set a record, and Chris Davis got a hit. The latter asked for the baseball back.
