Game 18: Twins at Orioles

Welcome back, everyone. It’s been ages.

First Pitch: Any minute now!

Martin Perez is taking on Alex Cobb in the second half of today’s doubleheader. This will be Perez’s second start of the year, after giving up just one run in six innings against Toronto. He’s yet to give up a homer this season, but with the baseballs flying around Camden the way they are today, he’ll need to be extra mindful of keeping things in the park.

In the opposite half-innings will be Cobb, making his first start back after an early-season stint on the 10-day IL. Cobb’s best days (with Tampa Bay) appear to be behind him, and he’s a little out of practice after just one start in 2019. Minnesota has a window to crack through him and delve into a bullpen that’s already worked once today. But can they?
