Game 19: Twins at Orioles

First Pitch: 12:05 PM CDT

TV: FSNO

Radio: TIBN

The Twins are coming off a double header sweep and will look to win game three for the series sweep. The Twins were only able to produce 16 runs in game two so some offensive production today would be nice. Ok not really, instead you hope they saved some runs for today’s finale.

The Twins will have Kyle Gibson on the bump today and he is looking for his first quality start after struggling in his first three outings. He currently holds a 7.36 ERA with a 1.773 WHIP in 14.2 innings. It is likely he is still recovering from the sickness he dealt with over the winter, so it will be interesting to watch him pitch to a struggling Orioles team. Baltimore will counter with right hander Dylan Bundy who is also off to a tough start. In 17.2 innings he owns a 7.79 ERA with a 1.558 WHIP.

Hopefully this Twins lineup can continue with the scorching hot offense by taking advantage of a struggling Baltimore team. Bundy is 0-3 with a 5.01 in his career versus the Twins.

Did you know? Last night the Twins set a franchise record for total bases in a single game with 48. Eddie Rosario set the Twins record for most home runs in the first 17 games with eight. The Twins have won 8 straight games against the Orioles, let’s make it nine!
