• Nick Nelson reviewed the week-that-was in Twinkiedom. He has added a “Willians Watch” feature, which I highly approve of.
• SI broke down Willians’ walk the other day, pitch-by-pitch. Willians Astudillo walking is indeed an epic and strange beast.

• A real, old-fashioned donnybrook between the Pirates and Reds cleared the benches the other night

• Chris Davis set a batting record that he probably didn’t want, breaking the record for the longest drought in MLB history.
• Sort of like the old circle-me-Bert promotions, the radio team for Cleveland does a give-away, if a player hits a grand slam in the third inning, a fan wins a car. Matt at LGT has a very amusing history of the promotion.
• Chicago’s viral sensation, the baseball nun, is back, with a new video showing off her fastball.
• Pinstripe Alley tried an experiment and constructed the worst possible team based on Yankees this decade. Four old friends appear on the list, and I think this squad would still sweep the Twins in the playoffs.
