Game 77: Twins at Royals

The Twins look to win their third straight and take the series

MLB: Minnesota Twins at Kansas City Royals Peter G. Aiken

First Pitch: 1:15 pm CDT

TV: FSNO

Radio: TIBN

The Minnesota Twins will go for their third straight win after dropping game one of the series. The last two have been won in dramatic fashion so let’s see what the Twins have in store today.

Today’s pitching matchup includes Michael Pineda for the Twins (4-3, 4.76 ERA) up against Homer Bailey of the Royals (6-6, 4.82 ERA). Pineda has not faced the Royals this year but in his last four starts he has a 3.18 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP. Bailey has faced the Twins once this year and he went 5 innings giving up 3 earned runs.

The Twins offense has had two solid games in a row so let’s hope this momentum can carry over to secure a series win.
