Twinkie Town Talk: There is NOT a better victory song in baseball than Prince, no matter what anyone says.

In case you missed it:

Elsewhere in Twins Territory:

Elsewhere around baseball:

  • Cut4 ranked every team’s “Victory” song. Now I need to know what kind of sick weirdo would rate a Drew-Carey-knockoff-comedy-bit-in-musical-form higher than the classic from the Purple One. Let’s Go Crazy, Twins fans.
  • Remember when Twins fans were all-in on signing Yu Darvish? Well, the Twins lost that derby to the Cubs, and Darvish finally won his first home game at Wrigley Field. Maybe he just really hates ivy and crappy cheap beer sponsorships (seriously, Old Style is so bad.)
  • Frank Viola wasn’t the only coach to get attention for an ejection recently. A team in the independent Northwoods League has a six-year old coach named Drake, who went viral for getting ejected. Apparently Coach Drake is leading his league in ejections. He’s from Michigan, maybe he’s picked something up from Gardy.
  • Old friend Bobby Wilson nearly got stampeded by hot dogs, and the whole affair just made him hungry. Maybe our jokes about him being a tough-guy biker were spot on?
