Per Dan Hayes, the Angels have claimed Adalberto Mejia from waivers. The Twins designated the left-hander for assignment on the thirteenth. Mejia pitched 15.1 innings for the Twins, and put up an 8.80 ERA. He showed some promise as a starter in 2017, but did not get much opportunity in 2018, and was moved to the bullpen this season.
