Game 110: Royals at Twins

It’s time to keep on keepin’ on.

A rejuvenated Bomba Squad has seen their runs/ and HRs/game tick back up to their usual record-shattering marks within the last couple of weeks. After absolute slugfests with New York, and blowout victories on the South Side, the Twins have resumed their hitting-heavy contests after a relatively “normal” series in Miami.

Last night, it was a narrow 11-9 win for the Twinkies, backed largely by Nelson Cruz and his prolific Boomstick.

Tonight, a pair of starters wearing numbers in the early 40s region will square off. Lefty Danny Duffy and righty Kyle Gibson are due to pitch this evening. Both starters enjoyed very level Julys; Gibson will be hoping to begin a series of dominant late-season starts like he’s been able to do before.

Lineups coming soon.
