Know thine enemy: Royals Review

Priorities for today:

  1. No one gets injured. This game means almost nothing.
  2. Play good baseball, or something.
  3. Win? That would be nice, and tie our franchise record with 102 wins.
  4. Hit a bunch of bombas.

This season has gone by so quickly, and it’s been a ton of fun to cover the team. Of course, this year, game 162 isn’t the end of our season. We’ll have playoff baseball in Minnesota, and I can’t wait to see what we can do.

Finally, Ned Yost is retiring after this season, so this is his final game as the manager of the Royals. Enjoy your retirement, sir.
