Because, you know, the Twins are not good in the postseason.

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Twins fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

The MLB playoffs have been a wild rush of games so far. But fans are still absorbing as much baseball as possible.

In the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey asked Monday before the start of play, fans were asked to pick a winner from each of the LCS series. Those fans picked the Oakland Athletics, Tampa Bay Rays, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves to advance. The Braves earned the highest percentage of the fan vote with more than 75 percent. Not surprisingly, the Athletics were chosen to win over the Houston Astros, yet didn’t advance.

After their Wild Card sweep at the hands of the Houston Astros, confidence among Twins fans took a hit. This week, the percentage of fans that have confident the team is headed in the right direction dropped more than 20 points to 65 percent. Not a shock considering the team got swept in the Wild Card round and a handful of question marks are remaining heading into the cold months of winter.

Additionally, fans were asked what they were most surprised by from the Wild Card series. Just over 40 percent of those who responded were most surprised by the Miami Marlins sweep of the Chicago Cubs. But hey, kudos to the Marlins for making it past the first round of the playoffs after their COVID issues this season.
