TV: None

Radio: WIFN (Atlanta)

Know Thine Enemy: Talking Chop

What is the over-under on the broadcast crew mentioning that time Kent Hrbek gracefully helped Ron Gant up over at first base?

We don’t get Dick, Dazzle, or any of our regulars today, but if you want to listen to the game, it is available through mlb.com, on the Atlanta radio network.

A couple notes from camp, about players who will be temporarily unavailable:

Kepler’s thing sounds minor, but at this time of year, its good to see the team take a conservative approach. No point in playing through a back injury for a game that doesn’t count. With no word on what’s up with Thorpe, we can only hope its minor, as he tries to earn a role in the starting rotation.

To the game at hand though, Mitch Garver leads off, and is followed by third-baseman La Tortuga. I would really, really, really enjoy seeing those two guys hit back-to-back bombas. Sano is in the third spot, and the rest of the line-up consists of prospects and camp bodies. I haven’t seen the list of guys throwing today, but for an early road game with a split-squad tomorrow, don’t be surprised if its also an uninspiring crew.

Anyway, Go Twins Go!
