Twins (split squad) vs Phillies
First pitch: 12:05p Central

Know Thine Enemy: The Good Phight
Coming off a 4-4 tie against the Braves, the Twins take on the Phillies and the Rays in a split-squad. I kinda like split-squads because two games going on at once is fun.
The Twins send Jake Odorizzi to the mound to make his Spring debut. In 2019, Jake was 15-7 with a 3.51 ERA. He also made an appearance in the All-Star game. The Phillies will send righty Zack Eflin to the mound. Last year, he was 10-13 with a 4.13 ERA.
This one probably gets the better half of the team, at least lineups-wise. Alex Avila will lead off and play catcher, and Josh Donaldson, Nelson Cruz, Eddie Rosario, Miguel Sano, and Ehire Adrianza will be joining him. Lamonte Wade Jr, Alex Kiriloff, and Travis Blankenhorn are also in the lineup.

The other half of the Bomba Squad will face the Tampa Bay Rays. Our starting pitcher in that game will be Devin Smeltzer. Last year, he played the role of an AAAA starter, usually getting called up when another pitcher was injured. He went 2-2 with a 3.86 ERA. On the other side, former Cy Young winner Blake Snell will be making his debut. He had an off year last year, going 6-8 with a 4.29 ERA.
Our lineup will only include two current major leaguers in Luis Arraez and Jake Cave. Top prospects like Royce Lewis, Trevor Larnach, and Brent Rooker join them, and Tomas Telis, Zander Wiel, Gilberto Celestino, and Drew Maggi will also start.
