Hey Twinkie Town, we’re giving away a copy of OOTP baseball

How’s quarantine treating you? Maybe you’ve picked up a new hobby. Maybe you’re just playing a lot of video games. If you’re in the second group, or for that matter if you like baseball and own a computer, have I got a deal for you!

Our friends over at Out Of The Park have provided us with another digital download, so that we can give it away to one of you. This is the full game, specifically Out Of The Park 21. IF you’ve never experienced OOTP, its different than most games. Its a very in-depth simulation program that lets you take over as GM, manager, or even commissioner.

You have the ability to build your team over the course of seasons, stepping into the shoes of Derek Falvey, Thad Levine, and Rocco Baldelli. You can also pit historic teams against each other if you want. I’ve been using it to simulate the 2020 Twins season that should have been—and I had no experience with the program prior to that. It took a few minutes for me to learn, as the depth is incredible, but It was also fairly easy to pick up.

Anyway, they didn’t ask me to write a commercial or anything for them, even though this post sort of turned into one. They just want to get the game into as many hands as possible right now. So one of you will win a free copy. I’m going to keep the entry rules simple, as I hate complex contests. All you have to do is comment on this post between now and midnight Sunday (central time) telling us who your all-time favorite Twin is. That’s it. One entry per person, I’ll throw everyone’s name in a hat, and a do a video of me drawing the winner. If you’re not a member, now is as good of time as any to sign up.
