The MVP and new Twin will teach you about baseball!

So first of all, a hat tip to Matt for bringing this to my attention. And speaking of bringing, you can talk baseball with the Bringer of Rain.

Josh Donaldson is hosting a virtual ProCamp on June 18th. That’s Thursday, by the way. It starts at 4 pm central, and a couple of our staff members are already interested, so you’ll be in good company if you consider joining.

The camp will feature live, virtual instruction from Donaldson and drills that you can participate in at home. You’ll also be able to get tips, tricks, and training from the new Twins’ third baseman. And in case you forgot—he’s a former MVP, so he knows what he’s talking about. The highlight, at least to me, will be a Q&A with Donaldson.

The curriculum will cover hitting, fielding, and baserunning. The camp is open to all skill levels and ages, including adults. This is a fun opportunity for kids, but also good for parents, coaches, and anyone else who just wants to learn a bit more about baseball. It will only cost you $10 to join, and even though money is tight for a lot of folks right now, that’s still a steal. Even better, a portion of the proceeds go to COVID-19 relief organizations.

You have to preregister for the event, and will be sent a password to join shortly before it happens. If you want to sign up, here is the link.

Of course, if any of you do join, feel free to share your experiences in a fanpost!
