Today’s lineups:

MIN: Luis Arraez 2B, Jorge Polanco SS, Ehire Adrianza DH, Miguel Sano 1B, Eddie Rosario LF, Josh Donaldson 3B, Jake Cave CF, Mitch Garver C, Marwin Gonzalez RF, Randy Dobnak P

MIL: Lorenzo Cain CF, Ryan Braun 1B, Keston Hiura DH, Christian Yelich LF, Omar Narvaez C, Luis Urias SS, Brock Holt RF, Tim Beckham 3B, Eric Sogard 2B, Adrian Houser P

The Twins hung six earned runs in 4.1 innings on Brewer’s starter Adrian Houser. Unfortunately, the Twins combination of Randy Dobnak (3.0 IP, 5 ER) and Caleb Thielbar (1.1 IP, 3 ER) gave up eight runs in the same amount of baseball. The bad day continued for the Twins bullpen, as only Tyler Duffey kept Milwaukee off the board.

I’m not even going to write up the scoring in paragraphs. Here are bullet points.

  • Bottom 4 — Josh Donaldson double. Jake Cave home run. 5-4 Brewers
  • Top 5 — Lorenzo Cain double. Keston Hiura walk. Christian Yelich home run. 8-4 Brewers.
  • Bottom 5 — Miguel Sano double. Eddie Rosario single, Sano to third. Jake Cave walk, bases loaded. Marwin Gonzalez HBP, Sano scores. Luis Arraez single, Rosario and Cave score. 8-7 Brewers.

  • Top 7 — Hiura single. Yelich double. Narvaez intentionally walked to load the bases. Urias 5-2 FC. Holt 4-2 FC. Beckham single, Narvaez and Urias score. 11-7 Brewers
