Twins announce 60-man spring training roster

“Roster”... “pool”... one sounds fancy, the other sounds cool.

MLB: Spring Training-Minnesota Twins at Toronto Blue Jays Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday was the deadline for Major League Baseball clubs to submit their spring training roster or “pool”. The spring training pools can have a maximum of 60 players and are the only players that can participate in spring training and regular-season games. Teams can add and remove players from this list, but any players removed for reasons other than injury or suspension are exposed to the waiver wire.

The Minnesota Twins announced their 60-man pool today as Falvine was probably at the lake sipping on mojitos and did not want to talk to the press yesterday. An asterisk (*) denotes someone on the 40-man prior to today.
