Welcome to another Friday! One Friday closer to (hopefully) MLB baseball, one more summer week down. One more of my discussions to help you get through the workday.
The question this week: Which Twin are you most excited to see take the field later this July?
Maybe you’re excited to see some more development from players coming into their own, such as Max Kepler or Jose Berrios. Maybe you’re excited to see one of the new faces take the field, like Kenta Maeda or Josh Donaldson. Maybe you just have a player that you really enjoy, such as the exciting Byron Buxton, the unique Willians Astudillo, or the enigmatic Eddie Rosario.
For me, the answer is Josh Donaldson. Even watching a clip from after he hit a bomb in the intrasquad scrimmage yesterday, I got excited to watch him play. Such joy and such excellence are going to truly be a treat to see grace the downtown diamond this year.
