- The Twins go with Aaron Whitefield over Travis Blankenhorn. Whitefield will fill in almost 100% as a pinch runner or fielder.
- Jake Odorizzi will start on the IL, likely only for one turn around the rotation. Lewis Thorpe, who was on the bubble, takes his spot for now.
- Willians Astudillo has not yet recorded two negative COVID-19 tests so he is not on the active roster.
