In a surprise early announcement, the Twins (and the rest of MLB) announced their 2021 schedule this morning. I guess that even baseball agrees that 2021 can’t come soon enough.

2021 will mark a (planned) return to the 162-game marathon we’ve grown accustomed to. The hometown squad will be opening the season with interleague play for the first time ever, in a border battle against the Brewers in Milwaukee.
The Twins will play a normal schedule against their division rivals (19 games apiece), as well as 20 interleague games against the NL Central. Other highlights of the schedule include hosting Mike Trout and the Angels in July, the Brewers and Cubs in back-to-back series at August’s end, the Red Sox in April, and the Yankees and Astros back-to-back in June.
