Lucas Giolito? Cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool no doubt

MLB: Minnesota Twins at Detroit Tigers Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

The Twins return home tonight to face the first place Chicago White Sox (that hurt to type) and will be facing off against Lucas Giolito. Rich Hill will counter for the Twins. Both pitchers were good in their last time out. Hill went five strong innings and Giolito *checks notes* threw a no-hitter...

It’ll be a tough matchup for a Twins offense that is not nearly the same as last season. We have been saying all season we just have to wait for them to break out but I don’t think it’s going to happen. Huge game and series for both teams starting tonight. If the Twins want to fight for the division they need a series win.

The trade deadline came and went today. The Twins didn’t make a move and they were never really involved in talks. I don’t like it, but Falvine trusts the team they put together.

Here is how the teams line up for tonight’s game:

Today's Lineups
