- Hitting 3 leadoff doubles
- Going 2 for 15 with RISP
- Leaving the bases loaded 3 times
- Leaving 14 men on base
- Walking 10 (!!!) times

Just a super frustrating game all around.
Jose Berrios did have a solid start, going five innings and giving up just one run. He continued his stretch of solid play that the Twins will need going into the playoffs. After he came out, Matt Wisler and Tyler Duffey had a solid outing to keep the score tied. They were once again solid out of the bullpen.
The Twins closer, Taylor Rogers, came into the game in a 1-1 tie in the 8th inning. He walked the first two batters he faced then gave up an RBI single and then a huge RBI double to Tim Anderson. It certainly wasn’t his night... or his season so far.
The Twins had a bit of life in the final inning as Buxton hit a very weird 2 out double. Jake Cave came up as the tying run and struck out looking on a pitch on the outside corner. A disappointing ending to a disappointing game.
Let’s hope the Twins come out swinging tomorrow in another game just as big. Tonight was hopefully just not their night.
